When and where became the passes available.
Passes are not available yet, we are waiting to confirm our first guest to do so. All passes can be purchased at the InterStar Con online store; you can access the store clicking on the “Store” button at the official event’s web site.
When and where will the event take place? How many actors are coming?
The event will take place in 2012 in Madrid. Dates and event venue are yet to be confirmed. Guests are also yet to be confirmed; they will be actors from series and movies such as:
Star Trek
Star Wars
Stargate
Farscape
Andromeda
Torchwood
Fringe
Etc.
What is InterStar Con and who is organizing it?
InterStar Con is the first professional science fiction event organized in Spain. KLZ Events (http://www.klzevents.com), the first and only movies and series events and conventions company of Spain is 100% organizing it. Being the only ones here ensures the exclusivity and importance of our guests.
The price of passes is higher than those of events organized by fans or clubs, why?
The main reasons are that the actors coming to our event have a higher professional status and that our events are professionally organized and therefore, more expensive to be carried out. Moreover, KLZ Events is not supported by sponsors, all events are entirely paid for with the money we make on sells. Prices are set depending on the actors’ caches and the total event’s budget.
If I purchase a pass, can I buy pictures and autographs that are not included in the pass?
Yes, you can buy any product you want as long as you already have a pass.
Do all pass allow me to access to the event on both days? How do I get my pass?
Yes, all pass include entry permission for both days except the day pass, which as the name implies, includes access to only one of the two days of the convention, you can choose the day you wanna to entry. The event will take place on a weekend and the registration the Friday just before the weekend. We will e-mail you an electronic pass after your purchase in .pdf format that you must print and hand out at the registration desk, where you will be given the actual pass.
May I take pictures to the actors with my own camera?
No, it is not allowed. Pictures with the actors must be purchased separately if they are not included in your pass. Nevertheless, you are allowed to take your camera to the panels and take pics and film from your seat. However, it is strictly forbidden to take pictures in the Autographs and Photo ops rooms.
May I and my friend be on a picture together paying only for one?
No, each of you must purchase a picture to be on one together, if not, only one of you will be allowed in the picture.
How will the seats on the panels room be arranged?
There will be four seating areas, one after the other. Priority area is for Star, 21st for Captain, 2nd for Soldier and 3rd for Day passes. Each area will consist of many seat rows, and some areas might be bigger than others, depending on the kind of passes sold.
I’m a minor, may I go to this event?
Yes, minors are allowed under the following conditions: if you are under 16, a responsible adult must come with you. If you are 16 or 17 you just need an authorization form properly completed and signed by your parents or legal custodian. If you are 16 or 17, you CAN’T be responsible for an under 16 minor.
If I’m over 18, have my pass and want to be responsible for a minor I don’t know, am I allowed to do it?
Of course, but you will be 100% responsible for the minor’s actions during the event and must be with him/her all the time, as minors are not allowed to walk around the event on their own.
Does the adult that comes with me have to purchase the same pass I have?
If you are a minor and an adult is coming with you, you don’t necessarily have to have the same passes. For example, he/she could purchase a Soldier pass and you a Star.
What time are the activities scheduled to start and end?
The event lasts two day, Saturday and Sunday. The convention will start early in the morning and end at noon. Those of you who are having the Cocktail/Dinner will end a little later.
The register to collect the hanging passes will take place the Friday prior to the event weekend at noon at the convention’s venue.

Can I pay in installments?
Not right now. If there should be a special offer for you to pay in installments, KLZ Events will announce it in advance.
May I pay through Paypal? Which payment options are there?
In our on-line store we only take:
How many passes of each kind are available?
At the moment we cannot say how many passes will there be available per category. But as a guideline, have under account that the more features a pass offers, the less passes of the kind will be available; so for example, the Star passes will be limited. The maximum capacity of the event is 1200 people.
I see that passes include different products. Can I choose between all guest actors or do I have to spend these products on a certain actor or series/movie?
You can spend those products on any actor you wish. Nevertheless, there might be some “Special Guests”; if this should be the case, we will inform about the special conditions for this guest and his autograph, picture, etc. will be included in a pass.
Do you need any help?
We will be needing some Staff people to help us organize and control everything goes right during the event. A few months before the convention, we will call an announcement about this topic, and everyone who has a pass and want to help will be very welcomed to do it!
Will I see the actors no matter what pass I purchase?
Yes, all passes will allow you to see them every day of the event.
Will I be able to see the actors even if I don’t have a pass?
No, you need a pass to enter into the convention building. Security measures will be highly strong during the convention and it is strictly forbidden to get into the convention without your pass. If during the event something like this happens, the intruder will be hold and we’ll call the police.
May I re-sell my pass?
No, if you do, the buyer won’t be able to access the convention because all passes are nominative and we won’t change the name on the pass under no circumstances. Any change must be done through us.
Will there be any special discount for people staying at the hotel?
Yes, there will be a discount for people stating at the event’s hotel. RENFE are collaborating with us and offer a 30% discount on all their train tickets for all the attendants to our convention.
May I get my pass at the convention?
No, you must purchase your pass previously, we won’t be selling them at the convention. Nevertheless, in the event that pictures or autographs aren’t sold out, we will be selling them at the event too.
Which merchandising will sign the guests?
They will only sign the KLZ Events official merchandising for the InterStar Con - which will be available in our store shortly - or official movies, series and producers’ products.
I am a member of a club/group/association. Can I actually work in this event?
This event is organized exclusively and 100% by KLZ Events, but we would be very happy to work with fan clubs, groups, etc. that are willing to come to the event. Please contact us at interstarcon@klzevents.com and we’ll talk about it.
